MISSION

The PSD Administration aims at putting God at the center of all its undertakings by exercising fair judgment and maintaining Filipino values and work ethics; capable of delivering exemplary service through paperless communication.

Finance Department

The Finance Department of Philippine School Doha is composed of the Accounting and Canteen departments. Its vision is to be a model of honesty and integrity in the management of school resources through wise stewardship and budget control mechanism, and sound financial reporting system that ensure appropriate allocation and distribution thereof for the provision of the physical and financial needs of the school.

Its services primarily include budgeting, financial analysis & reporting, school fee collection management, payroll system, receivable and payable management, purchases, storekeeping, and distribution/sale of fixed assets and operating and administrative supplies, uniforms and accessories, school stationeries, canteen food and beverages.

Guidance Office

Through the Comprehensive Guidance and Counseling Program (CGCP), the Office of the Guidance Services of the Philippine School Doha aims at supporting the clients in their school adjustment and achieve their full potential in the areas of academic, career, personal, and social competence. The CGCP is a systematic, integrated and inclusive response to the needs of the clients of PSD. Specifically, the OGS aims at providing the clients the opportunity to develop in themselves the basic foundations of learning and cognitive skills (academic), prepare the students to the world of work (career) and to assist the clients in fostering healthy intrapersonal and interpersonal relationships (personal-social).

VISION

The PSD Guidance Office aims at helping students cope with their issues and concerns as expatriate children in the State of Qatar by helping them develop academic, career, personal, and social competence. It also aspires to enhance the life skills of and nurture positive values and attitudes among students in order for them to be globally competitive individuals and responsible citizens of the society.

MISSION

The mission of the PSD Guidance Office is to provide a caring, systematic, and comprehensive guidance services responsive to the needs of OFW children in the State of Qatar that gears towards the development of each student’s academic, career, and personal/social competence.

The Human Resource Department of Philippine School Doha is composed of the Human Resources Office and First Aid Unit.

The role of the Human Resources Department is to ensure that Philippine School Doha finds and hires the best individuals available, develops their talent, creates a productive work environment, and continually builds and monitors employees to bring out the best in them.

The HRD involves formulating and implementing systems that are aligned with the PSD’s strategy in order to ensure that the workforce has the competencies and behaviors required to achieve PSD’s vision and mission.

Records Office

The Records Office, as an academic unit of the school, is prompt, efficient in its service to the academic community by incorporating technology and innovative procedures to its programs. The services of the RO include the reservation, registration & admission of students. The office also issues transfer credentials, transcript of records or student permanent records and academic certifications.

VISION

The Registrar’s office is committed to providing the academic community the most effective customer services. These services include student record maintenance, transcript processing, enrollment verification, and graduation processing.

Registrar’s office upholds integrity through accuracy of all student records, efficiency of services, and by working closely with other departments to achieve customer satisfaction.

The Registrar’s office as an academic unit of the school must be prompt, efficient in its services to the academic community by incorporating information technology and innovative procedure to its programs.

The Philippine School Doha (PSD)-Quality Assurance and Accreditation Department, aims to ensure quality in the school’s overall educational process.  It spearheads in school accreditation with other high performing and prestigious institutions to bring forth students’ performance at par with international standards.

The Quality Assurance and Accreditation Department (QAAD) oversees the quality assurance and accreditation processes of the school through planning, monitoring, evaluation, and the monitoring of the plans of action upon engaging to rigid data utilization of the results of evaluation.

Office of Student Affairs

The Office of the Student Affairs (OSA) is mainly responsible for the activities of the school whether co-curricular or extracurricular, as well as the implementation of discipline and formation of the students thru the Prefect of Discipline. It aspires to develop the full potential of the students in becoming a well-rounded and globally competitive individual by offering various after school activities and accommodating outside invitations. In order to enhance their talents and skills as well as acquire a behavior worthy to become a disciplined individual, the office encourages the students to uphold the school’s vision-mission. The office also gratifies concerns for both parents and students by conducting conferences regarding the behavior and character of the students. The Office of the Student Affairs also performs other functions such as keeping and releasing of lost and found items at the Prefect of Discipline, scheduling the use of school facilities, processing requests to avail lockers, screening and accepting of sponsorship for school events, up keeping Alumni Association, and collaborating PTA-BOD matters.

Provide PSDians a well-balanced Student Activity Program to further enhance their total development through co/extra-curricular activities utilizing student formation tools involving membership to clubs/organizations, sports program/varsity, student coordinating body (SSG), school publication, educational outbound program, performing arts troupe and other worthwhile student activities to support the attainment of PSD vision and mission.

School Maintenance & Services Department

The School Maintenance and Services Department (SMSD) is composed of different units of services that cover the vast needs of the school. Its main function is the proper upkeep of buildings and facilities by providing general maintenance of its MEP services. SMSD keeps the educational environment safe, clean, secure, and fully functional facility by providing housekeeping services, security services, transportation services, and other soft services that support the basic operation of the school.

VISION

We aim at providing facilities and services that are safe, clean and functional maintaining standard at its highest level which will support school’s mission of becoming the first Philippine Science School in the Middle East.

MISSION

Execute technical and non-technical services that will support students and staff a safe, functional, clean, and comfortable learning and living environment. This includes, but not limited to, maintenance of campus and staff housing, school’s housekeeping services, campus security and transportation.

It also provides building facilities that ensures quality and quantity-wise following the safety standard for an excellent and healthy learning institution.
