The Preschool Department of Philippine School Doha is committed to the total development of children ages 3 to 5 years old. As such, the Preschool Curriculum is designed to provide children with learning experiences which help them develop physically, cognitively, emotionally, spiritually and socially. Each classroom in the department is structured to create an enriching atmosphere and offers a learning environment that provides developmentally appropriate experiences intended to stimulate different areas of growth. Teachers make effective use of technology in day to day teaching and grab every opportunity to observe and meet the individual needs of each child. Together with the Classroom Attendants, they see to it that each pupil is afforded with personal care, attention, and love. Pupils’ classroom learning experiences are enhanced through the provision of co–curricular and extracurricular activities that allow maximum student participation. Strong connection between home and school is encouraged and parents are enjoined to visit and participate in school programs.
