The Junior High School Department caters to students who graduated from Elementary , generally children in the Seventh, Eighth, Ninth and Tenth Grades. It consists of more than 40 talented and committed faculty members specializing in different subject areas under one Vice Principal with one Office Assistant. It offers broad and varied academic programs as well as proper guidance to ensure that students excel holistically. Hand in hand with academic development is the formation of character and discipline among students. It implements the K to 12 curriculum since SY 2012-2013. The Vice Principal is assisted by the Level leaders and Subject leaders. A Level leader /Subject leader is someone who reports directly to the Vice Principal , disseminates information from the VP to the level advisers/non-advisers/ subject area teachers, brings concerns of the level/teachers to the VP and leads the activity of the group assigned to him/her.
We envision the Junior High School Department of the Philippine School Doha, bolstered by competent faculty members who have the passion for excellence and unswerving commitment to service, to be the center of excellence as the first Philippine Science School in the Middle East by offering an enriched curriculum in Mathematics and in Science, and in English that will develop the learners’ fullest potentials. It also aims at providing integral formation of individuals to become responsive and value – laden members of the society.
