No. The department allows simple birthday celebration only which may include candle blowing, picture taking with the celebrant, food distiribution, and eating.
Parents may bring food and take family picture, but they are not allowed to stay the whole recess/party time.
There are designated areas where parents can drop off/pick-up their children. Access to these areas is 15 minutes before classes start and within 15 minutes after class dismissal.
The safety of the children is the topmost priority of the department, hence, no child must be left alone without an adult supervision. Parents should make personal arrangements with the class adviser if the child will be brought to school earlier than 15 minutes before the start of classes.
Bringing of toddlers and infants to big events in school is not allowed to ensure everyone’s safety, to maintain order and the solemnity called for by some occasions. Crowded environments can pose safety risks for little ones, who may find the event overwhelming. The seating capacity of the venue is another major consideration.
CRP stands for Clinical Reading Program. It is a school – based program that holds special reading classes outside the regular class schedule exclusively for K2 pupils with perceived or diagnosed reading difficulties. It is a free program offered by the department to the concerned pupils.
