The Finance Department of Philippine School Doha is composed of the Accounting and Canteen departments. Its vision is to be a model of honesty and integrity in the management of school resources through wise stewardship and budget control mechanism, and sound financial reporting system that ensure appropriate allocation and distribution thereof for the provision of the physical and financial needs of the school.
Its services primarily include budgeting, financial analysis & reporting, school fee collection management, payroll system, receivable and payable management, purchases, storekeeping, and distribution/sale of fixed assets and operating and administrative supplies, uniforms and accessories, school stationeries, canteen food and beverages.
Through the Comprehensive Guidance and Counseling Program (CGCP), the Office of the Guidance Services of the Philippine School Doha aims at supporting the clients in their school adjustment and achieve their full potential in the areas of academic, career, personal, and social competence. The CGCP is a systematic, integrated and inclusive response to the needs of the clients of PSD. Specifically, the OGS aims at providing the clients the opportunity to develop in themselves the basic foundations of learning and cognitive skills (academic), prepare the students to the world of work (career) and to assist the clients in fostering healthy intrapersonal and interpersonal relationships (personal-social).
The Human Resource Department of Philippine School Doha is composed of the Human Resources Office and First Aid Unit.
The role of the Human Resources Department is to ensure that Philippine School Doha finds and hires the best individuals available, develops their talent, creates a productive work environment, and continually builds and monitors employees to bring out the best in them.
The HRD involves formulating and implementing systems that are aligned with the PSD’s strategy in order to ensure that the workforce has the competencies and behaviors required to achieve PSD’s vision and mission.
The Records Office, as an academic unit of the school, is prompt, efficient in its service to the academic community by incorporating technology and innovative procedures to its programs. The services of the RO include the reservation, registration & admission of students. The office also issues transfer credentials, transcript of records or student permanent records and academic certifications.
The Philippine School Doha (PSD)-Quality Assurance and Accreditation Department, aims to ensure quality in the school’s overall educational process. It spearheads in school accreditation with other high performing and prestigious institutions to bring forth students’ performance at par with international standards.
The Office of the Student Affairs (OSA) is mainly responsible for the activities of the school whether co-curricular or extracurricular, as well as the implementation of discipline and formation of the students thru the Prefect of Discipline. It aspires to develop the full potential of the students in becoming a well-rounded and globally competitive individual by offering various after school activities and accommodating outside invitations. In order to enhance their talents and skills as well as acquire a behavior worthy to become a disciplined individual, the office encourages the students to uphold the school’s vision-mission. The office also gratifies concerns for both parents and students by conducting conferences regarding the behavior and character of the students. The Office of the Student Affairs also performs other functions such as keeping and releasing of lost and found items at the Prefect of Discipline, scheduling the use of school facilities, processing requests to avail lockers, screening and accepting of sponsorship for school events, up keeping Alumni Association, and collaborating PTA-BOD matters.
The School Maintenance and Services Department (SMSD) is composed of different units of services that cover the vast needs of the school. Its main function is the proper upkeep of buildings and facilities by providing general maintenance of its MEP services. SMSD keeps the educational environment safe, clean, secure, and fully functional facility by providing housekeeping services, security services, transportation services, and other soft services that support the basic operation of the school.
